Eynesbury was once part of the Staughton Family’s ‘Exford Run’ pastoral empire that was first established in 1842. The complex today comprises of 18,000 acres of mixed-use farmland that has carried up to 30,000 head of sheep during its wool-growing past.
The magnificently restored Eynesbury, handcrafted from local bluestone almost a century and a half ago, stands testament to the property’s pioneering spirit and is now home to the Eynesbury Spike Bar and Cafe.

An impressive array of outer building classified by the National Trust and easily accessed by the Heritage Trail, including original shearing sheds, water towers and workers cottages, all provide an enduring reminder of the property’s early settler origins.
The Heritage Trail compromises of two inter-connecting trails, the Forest Trail and the Homestead Trail.
